SVTU-11T heat meter and SVTU-11V water meter (battery powered)
The SVTU-11T heat meter (battery-powered) is used to measure released or consumed heat energy in open or closed heat supply or water supply systems.
The SVTU-11V water meter (battery-powered) is used to measure water consumption in one or two water-consumption loops .
Meters are modified according to the standards of permissible value of accuracy while measuring heat energy, the volume and mass of the heat carrier. The flow rate measuring range is taken into account as well. Thus we can differentiate between M1 (with possible flow rate measurement error of 1%) and M2 (with possible flow rate measurement error of 2%). The SVTU 11 meter is worked out in accordance with the requirements of EN-1434.
The SVTU-11 has 7 standard configuration options for heat meter and 2 standard configuration options for water meter:

In standard delivery the meter has 5 pulse active outputs with a voltage of 3V and the built-in unit for work with the modem (RS-232). The modem driver can be adjusted practically for any of existing modems. Work in GPRS mode for GSM modems is available. Connection of several meters into one channel via RS-485 is possible.
The meter can have up to 5 ultrasonic flow measuring channels, up to 8 temperature measuring channels and up to 4 pressure measuring channels (pressure sensors with current output 4...20 mА). Two extra pulse inputs for volume measurement by means of water meters with pulse outputs can be added. The maximal frequency of impulses on an input is up to 1000 Hz.
The meter can be completed with the built-in power backup module. The operating time of power backup module is not less than 8 hours. If pressure sensors are powered from the internal power supply of the meter the operating time of power backup module decreases accordingly.
Additionaly the meter can have two linear outputs for control of regulating valves and two key low-power outputs for control of other actuators like pumps, for example.
So SVTU-11T and SVTU-11V ultrasonic heat and water meters actually represent the system of control and regulation of heat- and water consumption in one device.
For the information interchange between heat and water meters SVTU-11T, SVTU-11V and an IBM-compatible computer the SEMPAL Device Manager software is used.
CD version of the software is free. Due to the software you can easily unite a significant number of SEMPAL heat-water meters into control systems of any configuration. Systems are controlled remotely and can be installed in areas, cities and for the country as a whole.
