Heat and water meter SVTU-10M is used for:

• measurements of released or consumed thermal energy (further - thermal energy), volume of the heat-carrier, temperature of the heat-carrier in delivery and return pipelines, nonfailure operating time (voltage in pover line and correct operation) or idle time (switching-off of a power line) and also calculation of mass flow of the heat-carrier- performance 2, 4-9;
• measurements of volume of cold or hot water (further - water), its temperature, running hours (voltage in pover line and correct operation) or idle time (switching-off of a network of a power line), and also calculation of mass flow of the water - performance 1, 3;
• Indication (depending on a performance) the above-mentioned measured and calculated physical magnitudes and also thermal capacity, the volumetric flow of the heat-carrier or the volumetric flow of water, overpressure of the heat-carrier or water (accordingly to the order), current time and date on the digital screen;
• Forming of potential output signals on two independent analog outputs, which (output signals) are proportional to informative parameters - to temperature, pressure, volumetric flow and thermal capacity, measured by the meter.

Meters of performances 4, 5, 7 display in addition the calculated difference of volumetric flows of the heat-carrier in delivery and return pipelines (further - water leakage).

Meters of performance 9 measure in addition the flow on the feeding pipeline which is equal to leakage.

Meters of performances 7 and 9 measure in addition temperature of cold water on a source of thermal energy.

Meters depending on performance can be applied at the control, including commercial, of thermal energy in the closed or open systems of a heat supply or water volume according to current rules of the control of release and consumption of thermal energy or water on industrial objects and objects of a municipal services.

Meters of performance 9 are used for measurements of released thermal energy on a source of thermal energy.

Heat and water meter SVTU-10M has two independent ultrasonic channels for measurement of the water flow and flow of thermal energy, providing thus connection of four temperature gauges and two pressure gauges.

The heat meter has two independent built - in analog outputs for control of any type regulating valves, threshold devices, pumps or recorders, and also 3-rd built - in threshold output for control, for example, of recirculating pump. Each instrument has a direct output on the printer, computer, the modem, and also the external data reader DR-01.

So ultrasonic heat and water meters SVTU-10M actually represent the system of the control and regulation of heat- and water consumption in one instrument.

For the information interchange between heat and water meters SVTU-10M and an IBM-compatible computer the "SEMPAL Device Manager"software is used.

Mentioned software is supplied on CD free-of-charge and allows to unite easily and simply a significant number of heat and water meters of "SEMPAL" in automated remotely controlled any configuration systems of the control and regulation in areas, cities and the country as a whole.
