The additional errors caused by influencing parameters like temperatures, ambient humidity and supply voltage in operational ranges of their change are absent.
The calibrated platinum temperature sensors are used. Their connection is carried out by a four-wire cable. Connection with flow sensors is carried out by the standard shielded cable. The maximal length of connecting cables - up to 100 metres.
Connection with external devices is carried out via RS-232 or RS-485. Direct computer or modem connection via RS-232.
The length of communication line RS-232 is up to 200 meters (at the minimal rate of exchange 2400). The length of line RS-485 is up to 2 km. Combining of meters in groups when communication is carried out through any chosen one meter is possible. Thus the remote reading via RS-485 is realised. For example, it is possible to contact several meters via one modem .
The delivery set for a single-channel meter includes the calculating device, anticorrosive flow measuring section, flanges, fixture, ultrasonic flow sensors and temperature sensors with plugs, sealing linings, connecting cables.
For flowmeters with DN 50 and more pressure losses do not exceed 0.007 bar, for flowmeter with DN32 pressure losses do not exceed 0.085 bar.
For power standby the external power backup module is used in models M1 and M2 and the built-in power backup module is used in models 5M1 and 5M2 ; a direct output on the telephone or radio modem is carried out by the built-in unit MDM ; formation of control signals for regulating valves, pumps, recording and threshold devices is carried out by the built-in unit REG .
MEASURED PARAMETERS AND VARIANTS OF SUPPLY
Meter SVTU-10М (М1, М2) has two independent heat measuring channels and is applied for measurement of:
- Temperature of the heat-carrier (water) in supply and return pipelines, in feeding pipeline and also an ambient temperature (four independent channels of temperature measurement);
- The volume, flow rate and mass of the heat-carrier in supply and return pipelines;
- The heat capacity and heat energy;
- The mass and volume water leakage;
- The internal pressure in two independent points of the pipeline;
- Total time of powering.
Оne calculating device of heat meter SVTU-10М (М1, М2) realiszes 11 typical variants of supply.
Meter SVTU-10М (5М1, 5М2) has four independent heat measuring channels and is applied for measurement of:
- Temperature of the heat-carrier (water) in supply and return pipelines, in feeding pipeline and also an ambient temperature (eight independent channels of temperature measurement);
- The volume, flow rate and mass of the heat-carrier in supply and return pipelines;
- The heat capacity and heat energy;
- The mass and volume water leakage;
- The internal pressure in four independent points of the pipeline;
- Total time of powering.
Every heat measuring channel irrespective of other heat measuring channels can have a configuration in accordance with following variants of supply: 1, 2, 2/1, 2/2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 11/1, 12. The set of channel configurations is limited only by number of channels for measurement of the flow rates, temperatures, etc.
